I enjoyed Virginia Nebel's idea for using fancy scissors to make the edges of hearts interesting. My kids make their own valentine's and I have lots of these scissors so we used her idea to make the valentine's special. I love it when old is new again!

I love reading the 3Ts on your blog every week. I've learned so much from it. I'd love to win a years worth of magazines. I don't think I've found your magazine here in the Philippines yet so I'm really glad you have an online version too. It would be great to have them in the flesh. Coz I usually browse through my magazines over and over again. :)

My favorite project featured on the blog in
the last few months was 3T's with Carla Peicheff. There are so many reasons why I love this project. I thought it was a layout but it was a card. I want to make the card and then I'm going to try the same technique in a layout. The project appealed to me because it has so many elements in it that I love like bling, buttons and stitching. Chipboard has always been a challenge for me to use so I love a project that I like and I will try the chipboard on. The project gets me to go outside my box and it requires scraps. Woohoo!!! I also love that she asks us to send her a link if we try the project. Motivation to complete the project is awesome. I could go on and on but I won't. I would love to get Happy Mail so I don't miss any issues of Scrapbook & Cards Today.

I would have to say Alison's post on altering die cuts! I used to hate those until she did that post! :) Yay!
Posted by: Deanna | February 20, 2009 at 04:27 PM
I really liked seeing the 'die-cuts with pizazz' article! I loved seeing how to give those plain die-cuts some oomph!

I love everything, but if I had to choose 1 it would be the 3T's. It inspires me to try something new or outside the box!!

Freestanding Photo Card by Allison Cope is really creative and it can be used for so many other ideas besides a photo and the person recieving it can show it off or store it. I like interactive cards.
Thanks for a chance to win a great prize! I would love to have Scrapbook & Cards sent to me for a year! It's a beautiful magazine chock full of fun creative ideas. Magazines are my main source of inspiration.

I really enjoyed the article 3T's by Virginia Nobel. I have decorative edge scissors that I've never used. After reading this article on the blog I was inspired to pull them out and give them try. I was about to give the scissors away and now I'm keeping them.
