Allison Cope is back with us today with two fun patriotic projects using all those fabulous and fun edge punches we love! Here's her project:
To celebrate some Canada Day and Independence Day fun with some of my scrappy friends, I made some holiday cards to send them this year. I love using all kinds of edge punches so I thought I would incorporate them into my card designs.
1. Punch a variety of strips of white cardstock and cut them into strips the desired width.
2. Adhere the punched edge strips overlapping them. Use guidelines on your paper to help keep them straight as you adhere them down.
3. Machine stitch the edges of your card.
4. Place your layered edge punch section on your card and embellish and finish your card as desired.
Happy Summer

I used the same procedure to create my Independence Day card too.
