It is time! Are you ready? The Project 12 challenge for 2010 is officially here.
Do you need a refresher on the challenge? The challenge is simple. Scrap your month! What did you do in January 2010? The highlights for me were my daughter Morgan's 6th birthday and getting to fly to California for the Craft & Hobby Show (CHA) exhibition.
Whether you took one photo, 31 photos, or no photos, do one layout, and highlight your month. The very talented Becky Fleck has shared her creativity with us by providing sketches to help you along, but you are not required to use them. Any size or shape of project will suffice, as long as you are capturing time.
Becky offered a January sketch on THIS post. Below she has provided a second sketch for February. You can follow her monthly pattern and use a different sketch each time, you can use one sketch for the entire year, or you can use your own sketch.

This challenge is not about limiting your creativity. It’s about giving it wings. Fill up those albums with your life and create 12 layouts to capture the year. The layouts you do the rest of the year will be for fun.
Here’s the nitty gritty. You have until FEBRUARY 20 to link your January layout to THIS thread, AND my personal blog, www.davinie.blogspot.com if you want two chances to win two prizes.
Simply, there are two prizes and two chances to win. Link to this post, and link to my personal blog post. The same prize will be given at both places. If you would like to share your layout with us to add to a special Project 12 Facebook album, then please send your image to ideas@scrapbookandcards.com and you will also be entered to win the monthly prize! I'm confused. Perhaps I'm reading this wrong, but I thought the January LO was due February 20th, and Feb's LO is due March 20th. Did I misunderstand?

Love this sketch, but I'm confused too. I thought the judging was being done on Januarys layout that was due on Jan 20th. Apparently not as the winner on Davinie's blog was totally different to the January sketch and the winner here was simply from a comment not a layout. Helllppppp not sure what I'm supposed to do now???? I'm not complaining, just trying to understand for future months please.

Hi ladies! I have been hosting this challenge since 2009 so I was working on December layouts with the January post on my personal blog, but I included a 2010 cover page for those who were starting the challenge in 2010. Now that January is just about finished, you can start compiling the photos taken this month and use the January sketch, or February's sketch, if you like, and create a layout with your January photos. The challenge layouts are due by February 20.
Does that make it any clearer?

I did my layout! It was so much fun! I had been hoarding my Basic Grey Porcelain papers and stickers for months and this was the perfect excuse to use them! My January layout is here: http://momonsafari.typepad.com/see_it_live_it_document_i/2010/02/project-12.html
