To all our readers both near and far, we are thrilled you have joined us on a day where we all come together to celebrate this great passion we all share! Happy National Scrapbooking Day! We have some special treats in store for you today including some great inspiration from our designers, a little blog hopping and some fabulous prizes too! Let's get this party started!
First up is a brand new sketch by our lovely and talented sketch artist, Becky Fleck. We loved this sketch so much we sent it to members of our design and editorial team for their interpretation (well, really to give you some great eye candy!) and here is what they came up with...
Sketch by Becky Fleck, PageMaps
We loved Summer's version of the sketch - especially her title treatment and linear interpretation for the picture placement. The strips across the top complete the linear feel while the beautiful crochet flower adds just the perfect touch of whimsy!

In Davinie's layout she was able to take the sketch and turn it into a double page layout where she could fit the multitude of Easter pictures she had collected. By moving the journalling down a little Davinie was able to keep her layout perfectly balanced and with a light colour palette, it is perfect for spring!

While Kathy followed the linear lines with her patterned paper, she changed up the photo placement with a beautiful, well balanced result! And, it is all digital. This layout displays Kathy's amazing ability to use white space effectively.

To translate Becky's fun sketch into a card, Kimber used her paper placement almost exactly as she did and then used chipboard embellishments in place of photos. Could this card be any cuter?

Here is Vicki's beautiful layout - full of colour, gorgeous photos, and perfectly placed elements that visually lead you all around the page. Ah, Sassafras goodness. This layout just screams SPRING!
And, yet another beautiful double page layout that combines all the great elements of Becky's sketch. We love how Lisa combined patterned paper for a great border and the circular title treatment with journalling around it is perfect! The balance achieved with the photos is also perfect with visual interest added with a tilted photo.
