Good morning! We hope you all had a great weekend. We've got a great week planned here on the SCT blog so be sure to join us everyday. Today we've got one of our favourite designers with a fun challenge. Vicki Boutin authors the Designer's Notebook in each issue of SCT and if you have seen it, we're sure you will agree that she is one creative girl. Check out Vicki's challenge...
"I am always looking for that little "idea spark" or inspiration source to get me excited about creating. The funny thing is it is sometimes right under my nose! I go searching through some of my past projects looking for a design I like and scraplift myself or I might find a technique I want to give another go. That is what I am encouraging you to do today. Draw inspiration from one of you past projects!! Or you can follow the challenge I am setting out for my self.
Take a look at this layout I did 2 years ago. When I stumbled upon it I knew I wanted to give that stamping technique another try.
I am going to call it "stamp blocking" it may have a proper name but I'm not sure what it is. Here is a close up look...
