Now, back to our regularly scheduled program! We have the ever talented Davinie Fiero joining us this week with a fun challenge today - celebrating what's around you!
"Happy Monday to you! Thank you so much for joining me on the blog as we welcome in November. Canadians have already celebrated, and soon it will be our turn in the United States to welcome the Thanksgiving holiday, a time for family and an opportunity to share our thanks for hearth and home.
In keeping with the home and family theme, my challenge for you this week is to take a look around you and celebrate your roots. In the fall issue of SCT, Lisa Kisch wrote a great article about your neighborhood and finding inspiration in the colors and shapes surrounding you. I took a peek out my back door and saw two bumpkins, a wagon wheel, and mountain views. I live on a couple of acres in Central Oregon, and we are renovating. While the house gives me plenty of headaches, watching my girls romp around in this great big space more than makes up for it:
Supplies: Bazzill cardstock; My Minds Eye patterned paper; Pink Paislee patterned paper, cork, die cut; American Crafts alphas; Bo Bunny flowers; Stampin up punch; EK Success punch; Fiskars punch; Maya Road jute
I hope you’ll join me in this opportunity to document your world. I can’t wait to see where your projects take me! ~ Davinie

I can't WAIT to see the calendar in the flesh-- and I love that layout, Davinie! The layered flowers are perfect. :)
