An advance copy of Becky Fleck's new PageMaps book landed in our office yesterday (with a loud thump I might add!) and I have to tell you, RUN, don't walk to your nearest store the moment they land there. There is no doubt it will be one of the best purchases you will ever make for your scrap room. In the book Becky says "Think of a sketch as another tool in your scrapbooking aresenal." and she is absolutely right. Whether you are a traditional scrapbooker, a digital scrapbooker, a cardmaker or love to play with paper, this book is current, it's fresh and visually beautiful. The contributors to this book truly put out their best work. I especially loved the laminated cards in the back with the hole punched out so you can add them to ring and put them in your crop bag - they'll go with you everywhere! So remember, RUN, don't walk because this will not last long on store shelves. But now that I have shared this with you my wonderful blog friends, *promise* me you won't mention this post to Becky ok? Promise? Because if you know Becky, and I do, she is blushing to her very toes and ready to hurt me. But I just had to share - as all good friends do!
