Happy Monday morning everyone! We have a surprise guest who you have not seen in awhile on the SCT blog. Want to guess? Well let's give you a few hints...she was one of the first regular members of the SCT team, she is completely adorable and on February 1st she launched her own stamp company called "Paper Smooches". If anyone said Kim Hughes then you would be right! With a fun challenge ready, we'll let Kim take over...
"Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you have dreamy plans with your sweetie today!
It is my pleasure to join you on the SCT blog today to offer up a challenge. I adore challenges and I hope you do too! My challenge is an easy one. Check out this card:
supplies: Paper Smooches stamps, Fresh Ink, Bazzill card stock, Divine Twine, Marvy Uchida punches, Fiskars border punch, My Mind's Eye and Amuse paper
Please take inspiration from it:
1. the color combo
2. The rule of threes (a design that is pleasing to the eye)
3. use the sketch
4. use hearts
5. add texture with pompoms or googly eyes
The sky is literally the limit today, so please play and have fun! Be sure to link your project to this post (wink, wink, nudge, nudge!)
Thank you for joining me here on the SCT blog and I would love you to join me on the Paper Smooches Facebook page too! Just click right here to keep up to date with new releases, inspiration and fun challenges.
Have a wonderful day and I'll be back on Wednesday with a little tutorial :)
