Good morning! Remember this card from Monday? I'm back today to show you the "interactive" part of this card from Monday.
These are the supplies I used for this card:
Circle punch
Vine die, punch or hand cut
Pattern paper
Cardstock
Stickers
White pen
This type of pop up card is the simplest to make and can be made from any shape that is symmetrical such as circles, triangles, stars, hearts, etc.
Start by punching 3 circles from orange pattern paper and fold in half.
Adhere half a circle to each side of the center circle.
Trim off the bottom of the circles to create a flat edge so it looks a pumpkin instead of a ball.
Adhere the other halves of the outer circles to the inside the center of the card.
Die cut, punch or hand cut a vine for the pumpkin. I used the new Core’dinations Kraft cardstock so I sanded it to reveal the kraft color below the green for a cool effect.
Run the die cut through a Xyron X to add adhesive to a small delicate diecut.
Cut a small piece of brown pattern paper for a stem and finish embellishing the card with stickers to spell out your sentiment and a white pen to add a bit of faux stitching for a handmade touch! If you try this card or another interactive card, be sure to link it to this post to share with our readers!

We are very excited to finally give you a recap on Crop & Create Saskatoon. It was nothing short of AMAZING! As one of our attendees wrote on our facebook page "Crop & Create, Learn & Create, Visit & Create, Giggle & Create! What a wonderful weekend to learn and then do." It was a wonderful education experience that we don't think our attendees will soon forget. In fact, many said they would see us at the Winnipeg and Edmonton events planned for 2012! They truly loved the education part with our amazing instructors (thank you Becky Fleck, Vicki Boutin, Kimber McGray and Kelly Goree!), the make n' takes (thank you to our sponsors!), the food and just being in a beautiful room with other women who passionately love papercrafting. Of course the many prizes and the goody bags we provided were a lot of fun too! And, we can't wait to do it again. Sooooo, get ready Toronto as we will be announcing today on our facebook page the location of the next event scheduled for January 13/14! Registration will open on October 17th on our website! Can you think of a better holiday gift to yourself? We can't so be sure to mark your calendars for October 17th as we will only have 150 spots available!
If you would like to see more of the fun we had in Saskatoon, just click on our Crop & Create facebook page and our SCT facebook page! You can see some great photos in our fun photo booth! Sadly we did not get a picture of the amazing candy bar so if anyone out there did, please email us at create@scrapbookandcards.com.
To those that joined us in Saskatoon, you inspired us all with your creativity, your passion and your warmth. Thank you for welcoming us to Saskatoon. We can't wait to see you again!

Thank you for a great event! Loved the classes I took - I wish I could have taken them all! Thanks to your talented instructors who were so friendly and inspiring. The photo booth was spectacular and the candy bar was awesome! (You'd have had to be fast to get a pic of it as it was decimated pretty quickly!) I'd love to attend another of your events and highly recommend it to anyone who can make it to one! Well done, SCT!
