Happy New Week! With my two kids' holiday orchestra and choir concerts, family and church events, holiday parties, and life in general, this time of year tends to just fly by for me. I think it's important to capture the right here and right now sometimes so you don't forget the little things that make up life. I had seen this journaling technique on my friend Tina's blog, she calls her posts "Currents" and the whole idea appealed greatly to me. I stole her idea, I didn't even include a photo, just the journaling.
I want to challenge you to do the same. Take these following categories, add to them, take away, or make your own, fill them in and make your own page. I think a book of these would be fun to have, fill in the same questions every month with a photo of yourself with each set of questions.

It's fun to look back at this and see what progress I have and haven't made in a year. I'm happy to report I did get my cute Christmas tree done. I didn't order ribbon for it though, just bought it at the local craft store! Life happens!

Seriously love this idea as I was just commenting that life seems to be moving so quickly these days and that I was finding it hard to believe it was Monday again!!!

Shared it with the peeps at Letter Scratcher. Just loved the look of the layout, as well as the journaling prompt.

This reminded me of my mom....she would write down "today it snowed", or "canned peaches" in her cookbook ( Blue Ribbon), but neglected to put a date , but I read those little notes and it gives me a smile to think of her. So I want to do this monthly ...and maybe it will bring a smile to my kids one day...but I'll date it:)
