Happy Valentine's Day friends! Did you know that over 1 billion dollars is spent on chocolate to celebrate this day? Did any arrive at your home? A sweet anonymous package arrived in our office yesterday so a big THANK YOU to the lovely reader who sent it! Perhaps we should call it Happy Chocolate Day??? Oh, we'll be on a sugar high today!
Speaking of sweet, we have a sweet designer, Virginia Nebel, joining us today with a sweet project and we have a "Sweet Cakes" giveaway too!
"I’m glad to be back again today to share with you a little 3D tag I made in honour of Valentine's Day. It is a really cute matchbook tag for that someone special in your life.
It’s really simple to make, here’s how:
Take a 2 ¼ x 5 ½ inch white cardstock and score at ½ , 3, and 3 ¼ inch marks.
Fold on the scored lines and place a staple in the centre of the wider fold which is the bottom of the matchbook.
Supplies: Authentique pattern paper, Twinery twine
Make little matchsticks hearts and tuck into the bottom fold. You can buy match sticks at any craft store or dollar store. Decorate the matchbook as you wish! ~ Virginia
