Hello Scrapbook & Cards Today friends! Emily on board today with the Monday Designer's Challenge for you. When my great grandmother passed away, I inherited her Grandma's Brag Book. What a treat to have those pictures of me as a baby. They aren't well composed, I don't have the catchlights in my eyes, but they are pictures of me with my two great grandmothers (they were friends), my grandparents and my parents. They are precious to me because of that. I have scanned them all, and every so often, I like to pull out one and scrap it.
Today's challenge is to do just that, scrapbook a picture from your childhood. Journal or don't. There may not be a story, like with my layout, although I probably should add some journaling on the back about the crocheted baby blanket I was on. My great grandmother made it for me and I still have it!
Come Wednesday, I'll show you another project I did using photos from my childhood. All I'll say is please be kind :) ~ Emily Pitts
Can you believe we are on Day Eight of our "12 Facebook Fan" celebration already? Today we want to send out a huge shout out and thank you to Bazzill (be sure to check out the brand new website!!!) The staple in every papercrafters craft space! Our friends at Bazzill are some of the kindest and most generous people in the business and they are one of the reasons SCT has continued to be successful over the past 7 years. And that's no joke. They were one of our first partners and continue to be a great partner with our Crop & Create events. We seriously could not do what we do without them! So as we celebrate them today, they are celebrating YOU with this...
The amazing Beach House collection designed by Janet Hopkins is THE perfect collection to have this summer. And it could be yours! Be sure to enter HERE (you only have to enter once for all 12 days) and then jump over to the Bazzill facebook page and give them a big THANK YOU for always supporting SCT!
Sound good? Enjoy your day and we'll see you tomorrow when Aly Dosdall shows you a great new project she created!
