Hello, it's Emily again! I've got a project for you that again features childhood photos, but this time, it goes from babyhood to my senior year. I went to high school in the 1980s when big hair was popular. Remember I asked you to be kind? I am not one to wear the same hairstyle more than a few years, I like change. I noticed that in looking through old photos. I thought it would be fun to have all those photos of my hairstyles in one place so I put together this album.
I have a reputation for freaking out when I am faced with the task of making a mini album. It's deserved. But once I got my cool back, I decided to use the exact same elements on every page, move them around a bit, and keep the design pretty similar. It worked! Before I knew it, I had my pages done!
Here's a schematic of the elements I used. You'll notice through the pages, I follow a very similar design. It made it easy to complete this project, I didn't have to reinvent anything.
And here's the album in its entirety. I hope you enjoy.
I called it Volume 1 because I must do a volume two for the last 20 years. It would only be fair! ~ Emily Pitts

What a fun album and such a great idea. I love the way you used the same basic design in the album, but it doesn't always look the same. Great job Emily. Also, another great giveaway and my favorite die company. Thanks

I just love this!!

Oh, I remember the hair.....all but the soft curly. I had straight hair and and I had a "wooly lamb" perm for years....those stinky perms where you put in a hundred tiny rods and left them in forever with that horrible smelling perm solution. The perms cost about $2.00 and the curls lasted for at least 3 months. But how fun to remember the hair styles I had.........for the last 60 years...that would be some album. I just may have to consider that. And what a great idea to use the same elements. Thanks for the idea. Hope your 4th was great.
