Happy New Year to you all! Today I'm sharing a simple New Year card you can create in minutes and bring along with your hostess gift to the parties and family gatherings you may be attending today.
All you need to do is gather festive colored paper scraps, tear them into small pieces, and adhere them to your card base. I found it helpful to tear some larger pieces to fit underneath, and then layer smaller ones on top.
Next, simply print out this card sentiment download, punch the sentiment out, mat it with some cardstock and add it to the center of your card. Easy peasy--perfect for a day like today. I've included several sentiments in case you need more than one.

Thanks SCT! I'm super excited about winning! My husband was just saying to me that I buy too much stuff so now I can tell him I won this, so technically that's not buying! Thanks for putting on these great contests. My goal this year is to do something creative once a week this year and this prize will definitely help me towards achieving that.
