Hello, and Happy Monday, everyone!!! With the beautiful colors of Fall all around, and after recently celebrating Thanksgiving with my family, I couldn’t wait to create an Autumn themed page to share with you today.
Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper: American Crafts, Echo Park, Fancy Pants Design, My Mind’s Eye; Project Life Cards: Me And My Big Ideas; Tag: American Crafts; Enamel Dots: My Mind’s Eye; Designer Tape: Bella Blvd; Color Shine: Heidi Swapp; Leaf Punch: Marvy Uchida
As you might be able to guess, the main inspiration behind my layout was the “GRATITUDE” project life card. I absolutely loved the gorgeous combination of colors, and included each and every one of them in my layout design.
Shades of pink and aqua aren’t typically included in the traditional Fall color palette, especially when it comes to fallen leaves, but I just couldn’t resist.
My punched leaf accents looked wonderful as is, but I decided to step things up just a bit to give them a little bit more of that “wow factor.”
I’ll be back on Wednesday to share a little tutorial on just how I gave them that autumn glow, and added some additional interest and dimension. I might just have another little project to share with you as well. Have a wonderful day, and I’ll see you again soon!
