Good morning and Happy Worldcardmaking Day! Here is a very clean and simpe card I put together highlighting a few current trends including gold, sequins, and banners!
I used Stampin Up! stamps (the snowflake is actually stamped on vellum and then embossed with gold embossing powder) and popped up on the white dry embossed (polka dots) cardstock. I then placed both on the Stampin' Up! new gold foil cardstock from their Holiday Mini Catalog. I sprinkled some gold sequins around for movement. And here's a trick: to create the notched corners on the white panel I simply used a 1/2" circle punch - I turned it over and inserted the corner of my paper about halfway in and then punched. Easy!
I also had some help by using this sketch as a guideline...
