Gotta Have Heart @ Home!
My love affair with hearts has been a constant for as long as I can remember. In fact, my childhood bedroom was lined floor to ceiling with hearts—heart wallpaper, heart lampshade, heart bedding, and more. I’d decorate my room in a similar fashion today if I didn’t think it would freak my husband out a bit. Take a look at these homey heart options:
Heart Wall Decals by Urban Outfitters
Move over wallflowers; there’s a new look in town!
Heart Lights by Target
Light the way with these love-filled LEDs.
I Heart Bedding by The Land of Nod
Land of Nod? More like the Land of Love. Who wouldn’t adore crawling into this inviting bed?
Gotta Have Heart On Your Person!
There’s nothing wrong with wearing your heart on your sleeve. Or your feet. Or anywhere else for that matter. Here are a few of the MANY hip hearts available in fashion:
Bass X Rachel Antonoff Heartbreaker Oxfords
Breaking hearts has never looked so good!
I Heart Umbrellas by ModCloth
With an umbrella like this, I hope the rain-rain will never go away.
Hammered Heart Bangle Set by Forever21
Ever have those days where your heart is feeling a bit beat-up on? Try one of these bracelets on for size. Suddenly, having a hammered heart isn’t such a bad thing.
Heart Jacquard Tunic Sweater
Wear your heart on your sleeve, and your tummy, and your back, and...
Miles and Miles...
Yes, hearts are here in a big way, and not just because Valentine’s Day is around the corner either. Hearts are hip, my lovable friends. For a fun twist on the heart trend, check out my personal blog post today, where I’ve created a two-tone heart design, inspired by this sassy Ann Taylor shirt I spotted this weekend in Park City, Utah.
Cross My Heart
I don’t plan on sticking 1,000 needles in my eye, but I have put a bunch of virtual pins in darling projects I’ve found online featuring hearts. This includes a hearty helping of layouts, cards, gifts and more, including these cuties by Cosmo Cricket. Come by and see the heart parade happening now.
Leave Your Heart Mark
If you leave me a little note in the comments section of this blog with a link to your favorite heart find, whether that be in fashion, crafting, home decor, or cookies, I promise I will come by and take a look. Heck, I’ll probably pin it while I’m at it. Especially if it’s something you’ve created yourself. Oh, how I’d love to take a look at your heart happenings.
Heart Harmony
Until we meet again, I thought I’d leave you with a few of my favorite heart ditties—Heart & Soul by Jan and Dean. I remember listening to my mom’s Jan & Dean CD over and over again to hear this happy number. I hope it makes you smile as much as it does me.
Enjoy your creative, heart-filled journey,
P.S.
What’s your favorite heart-related song? I’m always looking to up my music library. Please share!

I'm going to have to try out those little heart packets that you did for Cosmo cricket. That would be an excellent treat for my students. My favourite heart project of mine lately is this page I did featuring my son.
