Good morning SCT friends! It's Stampin' Up! Inspiration Saturday on the SCT blog and we pretty excited with today's projects we're sharing with you! With the unveiling of the brand new Sale-a-bration catalogue, the creative minds at Stampin’ Up! also released a selection of fabulous bundles. One of our favourites is the new Party, Party, Party Bundles in Calypso Coral or Bermuda Bay! For those of us in a snow globe today, don't those names sound so exotic!
Today we have 10 beautiful and creative projects from two talented Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators that show you how to use this fun bundle in unique and exciting ways. Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Colleen Vassos has taken these bundles and transformed them in to some amazing projects we know you’re going to love.
Colleen is from Saskatoon, SK and has been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for 4 years. Now let’s check out her projects!
Here’s what Colleen had to say about her projects:
“When I saw the pre-stitched garland in the Party, Party, Party Bundle I knew exactly what my first project would be! I love these colors, and this piece of stunning home decor came together quickly and easily!”
“This was actually the card I made to go with the framed home deocr piece. If you were giving the frame as a gift, this would be the perfect card to accomany it! The garland is is a great accent that makes it look like you sewed on the card yourself!”
“I am always looking for unique fun ways to give a gift card, which seems to be my go to gift! To make this project, I glued two envelopes together to create pockets. One side has a thank you card, and the other side holds a gift card. This picture shows how I dressed up the outside of the envelopes with other beautiful elements from this bundle to make it special.”
“I love coffee, and I love giving K cups and a coffee gift certificate as gifts! The garland made the perfect accent to decorate the box, and the treat bag was the perfect thing to wrap around the box. I actually shredded another bag to use inside as stuffing. The bags and the chunky twine just said coffee to me, I think it was the colour and texture. The little tags and die-cuts were perfect for a tag and I just popped on a Candy Dot, one of my favorite embellishments.”
“In the front of this picture you can see an adorable little box. I embellished the front with the beautiful Gold Sequin Trim and some Calypso Coral Chevron Ribbon. Inside the box is everything you need to hold an impromptu party, streamers, garland, gift card holder, and even a little tea light cake! You will never be caught off guard when someone says, oh it's my birthday today!”
Thank you so much Colleen for sharing your wonderful projects with us!
Next up is the creative genius of Ida Chan. Ida is from Vancouver, BC and has been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for 4 years.
“These paper fortune cookies will come in handy just in time for Chinese New Year! The 6"x6" Designer Series Paper is the perfect size to make these sweet confections. I couldn't let the remaining scraps from the cookies go to waste, so I used them to embellish the adorable mini goodie bags.”
“I adore the garland that came in this bundle. It can be used as an embellishment to add extra depth to a clean and simple card. The colors in the kit are coordinated so well that it is appropriate for both genders.”
“The tags and stickers in this bundle easily make beautiful packaging. The larger craft tag goes perfectly with the Tag a Bag Gift Bag.”
“I love the gold paper that came with the 6"x6" Designer Series Paper in the kit. I made gold the focus of the card to really scream out and highlight the sentiment.”
“The first thing that came to mind when I picked up the banner pennants was a party favour bag. I machine sewed two of the pennants together to form a quick bag to hang on a dining chair. There was so much extra left over paper from kit that embellishing the front was effortless.”
Thank you so much Ida for sharing your amazing work with us!
