Today I am going to share some of the amazing projects created by the Queen & Co. design team using Pearl Blossoms. These self adhesive acrylic flowers are wonderful to work with and add both dimension and sparkle to your layouts.

CHA giveaway! Doodlebug & Xyron!

We hope you enjoyed being with us on our journey through CHA this week! Of course you all know how much I truly LOVE our SCT readers so you know that I was picking some things up for a lucky reader each step of the way! Our partners also love our SCT readers so they were very generous! So let's start with a little confession about my first stop at CHA each year. It's Doodlebug. Their beautiful booth draws me in every time and it is cuter every time I see it...

With darling windows covered by darling curtains and full of some of our favourite people in the industry, it is the perfect way to kick off the show! So where does that lead us to? Final CHA recap! Day Four!

We are on Day 4 and the final day of our CHA recap. We could actually go on for about two weeks with all the images we took, but thought we would share some of the highlights from some of our favourite manufacturers. We may just sneak a few more images in next week as we go through them. On that note, let's start to drool over these new items...

Bo Bunny is always a wonderful place to stop for a while...a long while! We loved the new Mama Razzi 2 line and the new mini books are fantastic! With great selection and a great price point, everyone should have one to record the everyday! Here is just a sneak peek of what we saw...

Next stop is Jillibean Soup! Talk about inspiration! There were all sorts of brand new products including new placements, corrugated shapes, stamps and some beautiful paper collections! Feast your eyes my friends and get your scrap rooms ready for these...

For the love of all things fancy, next up is Fancy Pants! This booth was full of beautiful products, papers and inspiration! Our friends Jodi and Jared outdid themselves on this release and it was great to catch up with them too.

That's it my friends! Four days of wonderful products that will be coming to stores near you and that I think you NEED to have...lol! There is no doubt that CHA was great fun this year with lots of laughs and catching up with new friends and old. There was a great deal of innovation, new trends and at the end of the day, a true love for papercrafting. We feel blessed to have been a part of it all and cannot wait to share all that we saw in our upcoming issues!

Live from CHA! Day Three!

Day Three of CHA was certainly as much fun as one and two! We are still going through all the photos but thought we would share just a few more of our favourites today. First stop was Queen & Company! With a booth that was bright, cheerful and full of fun projects, we just had to get a few pictures for you. Trendy tapes, gems, straws, buttons, papers and so much more!

Next stop was American Crafts! OH MY! We spent a great deal of time here with our friends Liz Kartchner, Amy Tan, Maggie Holmes and Becky Higgins! Be on the lookout for these signature lines which were all incredibly well thought out and as beautiful as all these designers are. Here are just a few to share...

Last stop today is always a highlight for us. Our friends at WeR Memory Keepers have one again outdone themselves by not only bringing out some really great lines for each month, not to mention their amazing albums made easy, but their tools were the star of the show! From the brand new 3 x 4 punch that is perfect for project life, to the washi tape dispenser to hold all those fabulous little rolls, the star of the show was the brand new Envelope Punch Board that was so simple I made an envelope in seconds! A must have!

There you go my friends, a few more things to add to your evergrowing list of "oh my goodness, I must have THAT!" We are excited to wrap up Day Four tomorrow and of course...you will want to join us on Friday!

Live from CHA! Day Two!

Good morning friends! We have been having a wonderful time at CHA and wishing you were right there with us! We have so much to share with you and are finding it very hard to go through all the pictures we have taken (about 600!) to choose just the right ones...but we will! We have seen some great trends emerging and know you are going to love what's coming! So let's go...

We are thrilled for our Editor Becky Fleck as she releases a great new line of stamps, paper and stickes with Penny Black! The get versatile stamps will make the perfect card or will be a perfect embellishment for your latest page. Congrats Becky! You know I love those cupcakes!

So much Ranger lined up in a row! We did get a chance to see Tim Holtz doing some incredible demos. That man rocks the Distress Ink! We took about 50 pictures in this booth but here is just a sneak peek..

I had the chance to catch up with Maggie Holmes for just a bit (she is adorable!) and stroll through her sweet booth to check out her new line. Loved the overlays that make a photo look like an Instagram!

A sneak from Little Yellow Bicycle! Some great lines here!

I also had a chance to chat for a while with Ali Edwards who is one of the sweetest, most down to earth ladies. Her way of capturing the everyday life is wonderful and here are a few of her new stamps to help you do that!

To end our day we thought we would share a great video from our friend Jenni Bowlin who shares the new products from Jenni Bowlin Designs (including a fabulous new release from our great friend Lisa Dickinson!)

Live from CHA! Day one!

Hello SCT friends! We have had some long and wonderful days at CHA (Craft & Hobby Association tradeshow) seeing some amazing products thats are coming your way! For those that wonder what CHA is like, imagine walking on to a football field full of colourful booths showcasing beautiful paper collections, fun tools we get to try out and more inspiration than you can imagine! So let's give you a better idea by sharing some fun pictures (please excuse the lighting!)....

The sweetest booth...Doodlebug!

This new Take Note line is amazing!

Doodlebug has teamed up with Sizzix and Hampton Art with a whole new line of dies and stamps! Love it!

New cardstock and new texture. Friends, you are going to love this!

We fell in love with all the inspiration found on these messenger bags from Maya Road. This booth was CHALK FULL of inspiration! We stayed her awhile and probably took 100 pictures!

We chatted a long while with our friend Kim Hughes, owner of Paper Smooches!

Last up today is Simple Stories. Swoon! Amber, Kevin, Jodi and team have outdone themselves with some amazing products to capture both your everyday life with Snap and the travel line and 24/7 captured our hearts!
