Reader spotlight - Virginia Fynes!

Happy Victoria Day to all our friends in Canada.  In the Toronto area we have had a spectacular weekend which has allowed many the privilege of getting those gardens done.  There is something about flowers that just make us happy!  Last week our friend and reader Virginia Fynes shared this adorable card that was inspired by an "interactive" challenge at our Moncton Crop & Create event on our Facebook page. Virginia is a design team member for May Arts, a ribbon wholesaler,  and WOW does Virginia know how to use it!  We just had to share!

Well, isn't that the truth!  Today is a glorious spring day and we just loved these beatiful painted screen and embroidery hoops with words, flowers and ribbon from reader Delaina Burns of Alabama!

Playing with Ombre challenge....reveal!

On Monday we put out a challenge to our team and readers to submit their designs based on the new "ombre" trend!  We were certainly not disappointed!  Here was the challenge image we showed on Monday (and yes, didn't everyone want to have a bite of this cake???)...

Although this layout by Lee-Ann Thornton is not ombre in design, it is about her ombre nails!  Love that you captured this trend in a layout about your love of ombre Lee-Ann!

We loved the soft pink ombre of Kathy Skou's layout!  Beautiful!

Love the scallops that Cheryl Hutcherson used in her design!!!

Darla Ebbeson used various shades of brown to create her ombre look!  Great card Darla!
