Reader’s Submission – Tammy Malone

Ahhh…spring is in the air! We loved this pretty layout from Tammy Malone that features pretty pink peach blossoms in bloom. Tammy added detail to this layout by hand-cutting the flowers and by then adding ink and glitter. Tammy added a little more sparkle with a customized brad that she had embossed with glitter embossing powder.

Designer Challenge Monday - Linda Harrison

Well, it is a sunny, warm Monday morning here is Southern Ontario. How about where you are? Sure hope so! It has been a long, cold winter for us and we are thrilled to see the sun shining…and, to see some crocus popping up in the garden! This week, we welcome Linda Harrison back to the blog as our guest designer of the week. Here is Linda with this week’s challenge:

One of my favourite things to do on a layout is look to my patterned paper for inspiration. Whether it is for colour combos or for design, I can always find something to be inspired by. For this layout about my son and husband, I was inspired to create a fun modern flower embellishment by mimicking the ones found in this super cute American Crafts patterned paper. My challenge to you is to use your patterned paper as inspiration to create an embellishment on your layout.
