This week we have the great honour of having the lovely and talented Kelly Goree with us! I know she's going to share some fabulous work and maybe even a few of her scrapbooking secrets with us. Thank you Kelly for joining us this week. First of all, let's get to know a little more about Kelly:
Kelly Goree lives in the beautiful horse country of Kentucky with her husband of almost 12 years and her three rambunctious little boys. She was introduced to scrapbooking in early 2000 just after her oldest son was born and it quickly became a favorite hobby then all-out passion. She'll tell you if she's not out chasing her boys, you can find her scrapping!
Kelly is a full-time staff designer and instructor for BasicGrey where she is a driving force in designing work for classes, tradeshows, catalogs, and special events. In 2006 she had the honor of being a Memory Makers Master and has over 300 published works that can been seen in the pages of Creating Keepsakes, Better Homes & Garden's Scrapbooks Etc., Memory Makers, Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbook & Cards Today, Scrapbooking & Beyond and other scrapping and paper arts publications.
Today Kelly is going to share her amazing talent for combining patterned papers and challenge us to do the same too! Here's Kelly with her challenge:
Thank you so much for having me here this week as a guest blogger. Today I wanted to talk with you about something that is near and dear to my crafting heart - Patterned Paper! I love all the gorgeous designs of paper out there in the scrapbooking world and I can never seem to limit myself to one or two....so I don't! Often my pages will have six or so different paper choices. The more, the better as far as I'm concerned! So that is my challenge to you for today! Create a layout or card that uses four or more different pieces of patterned paper. These patterns can be bold or subtle, colorful or monochromatic, just use that paper!
Here's my example:

supplies: patterned paper, rub-ons, alphabet stickers, die cuts, BasicGrey; pens, Signo, Zig.
Kelly will be back Wednesday with more about patterned paper and how she selects the papers she's going to use for a particular project!
Check out more of Kelly's beautiful creations on her blog; http://www.kellygoree.blogspot.com/.
Wow - that's a gorgeous use of the patterned paper!
