Good Monday morning! It has been a whirlwind of a weekend at CHA in California and having just completed the first of three days at this annual winter trade show I thought I would share a some snapshots of things we have seen (and drooled over!!) and what you will see on store shelves over the next few months!
As usual the Bo Bunny release did not dissappoint! There are six beautiful new lines with amazing embellishments which now include new dimensional chipboard, new sizes of brads and new double dot colours...yes we swooned! Here is a small sample of what is to come:
The new 365 Degrees line from Pink Paislee instantly stopped me in my tracks! I loved that this line is about the journey - not a journey as in travel but more a journey through life. I'm sorry the photo does not quite do the line justice - it is truly beautiful! Bayberry and Queen Bee are also stunning and so creative it goes without saying that Rebecca has outdone herself!

(a quick sample of the new Basics line! - love all of this!)
I could just not resist sharing this A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E line from My Little Yellow Bicycle! Snuggle bug - boy and girl - was the sweetest thing I saw all day!
We both began and ended our day in the Doodlebug booth. It's a tradition! I love these girls and could not resist taking some photos of the oh-so-cute booth! With the usual fun, colourful palette, there is nothing that can make one happier than a little Doodlebug! There are six new lines (yes 6!), beautiful new white albums and a new Jack & Jill font - yes I also swooned here too!
So there you have it -a quick little recap of day one! Join me tomorrow as I share some more of our favourites from day 2. However I would be remiss if I said this trip was ALL work! For all our SCT friends enjoying a little snow right now, I also had the pleasure of enjoying this on Saturday! (sorry ladies...I could not resist sharing a little sun and sand!)
Malibu beach
In the Canyons looking out over the west side of Los Angeles
At the Santa Monica pier! We learned this is the start of Route 66. The end of Route 66 is in Chicago where we will be in July at the summer CHA show! I feel a scrapbook page in the making.
..and one last beach picture. Just because!
Have a great Monday - see you tomorrow!

How very exciting - would love to see some pictures of October Afternoon's new releases!
