Good morning fabulous blog readers! Welcome to our third and final wrap up report from CHA in California! It was another great, busy day filled with meetings, education and fun. We have seen some definite trends at the this show - cardmaking, retro chic, colourful whimsy, fun tools (see the "chincher" below!) peace signs and groovy and vintage trims. There was no doubt something for every scrapbooker, papercrafter or cardmaker. To say that I was just a little impressed with all the product offerings is an understatement. All that being said, let's peek at day 3.....
This is the new "cincher" tool from We R Memory Keepers - one fabulous machine that binds mini books with the ease of a lever. My scrapbook room NEEDS this! Book binding has never been so versatile or easy!
New Retro Glam collection was sophisticated, pretty and fresh - very versatile!
Jillibean Soups new collections - how our hearts swooned when we visited this booth! Jill you have done it again - pure bliss that always reminds me of Pottery Barn.
(love the title work in Summer Fullerton's layout!)
Brand new Pebbles - this is fresh and bursting with colour! I cannot wait to work with these lines!
I thought I would leave you with some Cosmo Cricket inspiration!
Unfortunately not all of our pictures turned out so here are some other companies whose releases were absolutely worth mentioning:
October Afternoon - Fly a Kite and Thrift Shop collections - there was not a piece I did not love!
My Mind's Eye - Lush - so rich in colour and texture
Making Memories - new jewellry line (beautiful!)
Sizzix - new Eclips (one amazing digital cutting system - I was IMPRESSED to say the least!)
Maya Road - an incredible amount of inspiration in one booth
Studio Calico - their first CHA launch was rich in colour and perfect in style - so very SC
Bella Blvd - I am SO sorry our pictures did not turn out well enough to showcase these fantastic lines!
Scor-Pal - a little "scor-buddy" - I NEED ONE!
Well, lets call it a wrap on our CHA trip! We came, we walked, we talked, we walked some more and talked until the wee hours of all that we saw. Instead of visions of sugar plums, there were visions of buttons, brads, papers and oh so much more! We are very excited to come back and have our designers working with all that is new in the spring issue. And, I think you are going to love it!
Thank you again for stopping by! Don't forget the February Project 12 sketch will be released on Saturday! You are going to love looking at your completed album at the end of 2010 - I guarantee it!
