Good morning! If you joined us on Monday for Vicki Boutin's "stamp block/scraplift" challenge, as promised Vicki is back with her new card inspired by the old layout...
"Ok! I switched it up a bit but that is the great thing about a scraplift...the idea or inspiration is there and then you just make it your own. In this case I made my own, my own again. Make sense? I was inspired by the layout posted on the blog on Monday that I created in 2008. I liked the stamping technique so I used that as my jumping off point for this card....
I started by stamping the little dolls by Hero Arts Stamps in black. Next I punched three sizes of circles from cardstock. I partially stamped the doll images on the circles and then layered them on top of the previously stamped images. I did not pop the circles up with 3-D adhesive due to the smaller size of the images. I tried it but the shadow dwarfed the images.
I hope you play along with either side of this challenge. The"stamp blocking" technique is fun on any paper crafting project. The lift yourself challenge sure does take the stress out of coming up with something new. I had a lot of fun with this one!" ~ Vicki

Initially when I saw this technique yesterday, I couldn't figure out how everything aligned so well, but seeing it again for a second time, it clicked. Thanks for showing us this technique & your really cute card.

Size and texture of the polka dots was great and then the added stamps gave it real flare. Thanks for sharing.
