The Fall issue is here...and a giveaway!

Good morning everyone!  Thank you so much for joining us on this BIG day.   We have so much to share with you, so go and grab a coffee, tea, or your favourite morning drink and stay with us until the end!  You will be so glad you did!

 
First, let's unveil the newest issue - Fall 2010!  Isn't it pretty!  That beautiful layout was designed by design team member Lisa Kisch and the picture on the cover is her sweet daughter Lily.  When Lisa showed us this picture from last fall, we immediately said we had to have it!  Lily is adorable in her perfect pumpkin outfit.  We loved how Lisa tilted her photo and her stitching adds warmth and texture to the layout.  Bravo Lisa!  

 

On to more exciting news! Although we had some guesses yesterday as to what the news might be, the big surprise is...we have a new brand new, BEAUTIFUL website to share with you!  The SCT team has worked very hard over the past 8 weeks to launch a new website that is not only extremely user-friendly, but one that is interactive, up to the minute and full of great inspiration!  I hope you will hop on over to our website at www.scrapbookandcards.com (of course after you finish reading today's post!) and check out these great things:

• you can" view" the issue online (no downloading required) OR you can "download" the issue right to your computer - the choice is yours!
• bonus articles and interviews with some of the industry's best designers.  Check out our interview with Stacy Julian!

• a fabulous "search" button that allows you to search the whole site (love those buttons!)
• an even easier and secure subscription process through Paypal (you do not need a Paypal account)

The next piece of exciting news is today's AMAZING giveaway!  When we were at CHA we saw this fabulous machine in action and loved what could be done in a matter of seconds with a simple press on the handle.  We are talking about the "Cinch" from We R Memory Keepers.  This is a must for a scrapbook room - not only to make mini books, but also to make recipe books, journals, or in my case to bind magazines (I did that in our office one day!).  So what do you have to do to win this great machine?  You have to go and visit our new website of course!  And while you are there, answer some of these questions....

I love the 3Ts section, especially the easy, detailed, expert article - some days I want a quick page (easy) and others I have more time (and stash) to devote and can take inspiration from the other two pages.
