Scrapbooking has been a time to reflect and relax from all the stresses that life brings! When I am scrappin I can feel my tiredness gone and I don't think about anything else but scrappin. It has also given me the opportunity to remember family and I always love that.

Wow, as always SCT is more than generous! You are so good to your readers. I tried scrapbooking because my daughter liked it- now I use it as my "escape"-- when I can capture and focus on all the happy times my family has had.

Wow...thanks for the great prize giveaway SCT blog! Scrapbooking and how it's made a difference in my life is by taking stock in family photos and history behind the photos. Starting with the old photos right up to yesterday's photos. I really didn't take many pictures until I started scrapping in 1999. I just lost my grandmother this year and I have over a decade of great pics and stories that I probably wouldn't have thought to capture. It has enriched my life tremendously.

Scrapbooking is a great escape for me. I have always loved to create and I love to take pictures and preserve our memories. I never truly knew how important it was to my family until my grandfather past away and I had great pictures and layouts for us to remember him by.

Scrapbooking has saved my sanity more than once. It allows me to keep my hands busy while I think through everything that is going on in my life. I love how it has made me take more pictures and track the special memories that would otherwise be lost!
Thanks for the amazing giveaway!

Scrapbooking is an amazing therapy for me. I work in Excel all day, crunching numbers ... and it provides a perfect creative release. Plus I've met some amazing friends, including 2 of my bridesmaids, through scrapbooking. I'm blessed - it's so much more than a hobby.

I got started in scrapbooking just after we adopted our 2 boys. I had quit my job to take care of them at home and was feeling "blue". A friend of mine invited my to a Creative Memories party. That was 12 years ago and I have continued to make friends over the years through this hobby. Love it!!!

Ooops, forgot the part about what it does for me. I think the biggest thing is that it's a creative outlet. Honestly, my family won't appreciate looking at these nearly as much as I enjoy the creating. I am just glad that I get to.

Scrapbooking has been a lifesaver for me when I was ill and had problems with my feet, I was able to be inspired by all the wonderful work that designer's and scrappers do. That was 6 years ago and my passion for scrapbooking is and will be with me always. Thanks for providing me the chance to win such a fab prize.

Thank you for the opportunity to win this incredible giveaway! Wow! For the last 3 years I have primarily been working on heritage scrapbooks as relatives began giving me important photos and documents from our ancestors past. Through this process I have grown closer to many family members as I share the contents of my scrapbooks.
Posted by: Marty | September 09, 2010 at 08:29 PM
Wow! What an amazing prize that would be! Scrapping has made a big difference in my life- not only do I have a fun hobby that keeps me home near my kids but it's one I can share with my kids who like to scrap too. Also, I love that I am keeping memories alive that I would otherwise forget or take with me to my grave! :) I love including details with the photos and telling the story- something you don't get from an ordinary photo album! It drives me nuts now to look at someone's photo album and not know who I'm looking at or where they were, what they were doing, etc.

When I am in the midst of experiencing pain...scrapbooking takes me away to another place or another time and distracts me from my suffering! The craft envolopes me with the memories of the photos and all I feel is the creativity involved in preserving those memories! I appreciate it! :o)

Wow! Everyone has a wonderful reason for why scrapping is important in their lives, and I totally agree with each one of them. I sooooo wanted to attend CE this year -- but didn't get the drawing until too late to purchase an airplane ticket and make arrangements. Scrapbooking is the twine that binds our family together viewing memories fomr the past preparing for the future. { I began making scrapbooks as a girl and continue today even tho' my style has changed greatly in these past 60 years.} Valuable skills, friendships, and creativity have been the adhesive that makes our hobby a significant life process!

Scrapbooking has helped me work through so many issues. Most importantly, it was a form of therapy for me when I suffered from ongoing postpartum depression. It's also given me a healthy dose of confidence which has in turn enhanced my life in so many other areas.
