Thanks for the tips .. I'm going to show this to my daughter. She is in grade 11 but will be going to prom because her boyfriend is in grade 12. We are trying not to make too much of a big deal about it because HER prom is next year but it's hard not to get caught up in the excitement. I'm just hoping that I'm allowed to take (a few) pictures of the couple before they leave our house.

Great tips! I don't have a lot of success with the mottled light under trees. I find I need to be in full shade of the tree. Fabulous shots, Kathy!
