Now that I have come clean about by little button addiction (see Monday's post!) I thought I better make use of my stash. I decided I wanted to make a button grass border. I grabbed every green button I could find and I mapped out a pattern on my layout.
Once I achieved the look I wanted I used mini glue dots to place the buttons and then I sewed them in place. Here’s the final layout.
Supplies: Cardstock Bazzill/Jillbean Soup kraft, American Crafts patterned paper, Sassafras Lass alpha stickers, Martha Stewart tag punch, Jillibean Soup tiny kraft alphas, buttons from SEI/Jillibean Soup/Crate Paper/Autumn Leaves/Fancy Pants, butterflies from Silhouette, JoAnn’s floral stick pin and floss, misc corner rounder, We R Memory Keepers metal accents, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher and font Bohemian Typewriter
The only downside to my button border is my layout weighs a ton and now I think I need more green buttons. Happy Crafting! ~ Summer
We would love to see what you have created with buttons too! Link your project to Monday's post and we'll help you replenish your button supply!

I love this layout - buttons are one of my favorite embellies as well. Are the trees stamps or cut from patterned paper? I love them. Thanks for sharing!

Really cute. I wish that buttons weren't so expensive.

If it's too heavy, sounds like the perfect candidate for a frame on a wall! Too pretty to put in a book, anyway! *smile*

Note to Sharon just above me in the comment field: hobby stores sometimes have bags filled with buttons of all shapes, textures and sizes for a reasonable price. Start either or even a dollar store! *smile*

Such a grogeous layout, as usual for Summer, but still gorgeous!

beautiful ... I love all of the different colours of green in the buttons. I don't mind having the extra weight on my pages ... I love the depth. And I agree with the earlier comment that this would be nice framed on a wall.

Nowadays a website is not just an advertisement on the internet but also a business representative. A business has to initially spend some money to get a web design. These are the times when one needs to spend money carefully. It is obvious that a business owner would be expecting a high return on investment done on the website.
