I've always been a DIY gal, my Mom taught me that if you wait around for the guys to do stuff for you... you could have it long done before it occurs to them that they should perhaps start thinking about doing it.
I found a tricycle wall decor that I spray painted & hung it up in my bathroom - we hang the hand towel from it. We get so many comments on it.
It would be so funny to see what ideas someone else has. I hope that spot has my name on it.

I'm wanting to make a memo board/school work display for our kitchen! Thanks for the chance to win!

Jen Rzasa

I'd love to make some sort of large-scale wall decoration!

I'm a fan of all things tea-related, and once saw a small framed pretty little piece in a tea room that just had a print of a lovely teapot with the sentiment "take time for tea with a friend" which I loved but thought it ridiculously overpriced at around $25. I decided to try my hand at creating something similar. I used my scrapbooking supplies to create a little card with the sentiment and a teapot and an inexpensive but pretty frame for Wal-Mart. I was very pleased with the results, and only spent around $7!

The last home decor item I made was one of those printer trays that I put photos and embellishments in for my Dad's 80th birthday in June. Thanks for the chance to win a spot in Aly's class!
