Hello! I love the challenge of using dies and punches in different ways. With Thanksgiving and the Christmas season so close together here are some of my favourite go-to Christmas themed dies re-purposed for some Fall cards.
For my first card, I cut out a string of Christmas lights and folded the paper in a circle to form flower petals. I used 1 ½ diecut lengths to form a nice layered flower.
I love the new Sizzix Reindeer with antlers die , I used one of the antler pieces for a tree branch.
For my last card, the Christmas wreath is wonderful way to celebrate a blessed home and family on any front door. I did add some glitter for extra warmth and sparkle onto the wreath. The Tim Holtz’s Reindeer Flight die has the cutest little fawn which I placed just below the wreath.
I hope you enjoyed today’s projects, have fun digging out your Christmas punches and getting a little more use out of them. Have a great week!

I love how you guys see "outside the box." I am so coralled inside it's four walls, a light string, is a light string!
Each time I see what amazing ideas you come up with though, I can see a crack in one of the walls!
Thanks so much
Sharon

Oh, wow, I don't do flowers, normally, but I do have a total fascination with the christmas light bulb - these are flowers I will make!!

I'm always so inspired with the "out-of-the-box" ideas!!! These are both terrific - I especially like the flower. Who makes the Christmas lights die?
