Happy Monday! It's Valentines week (ahem, be here tomorrow - hint, hint!!!) and today we have Virgina Nebel joining us with a great idea for treasuring those little love notes we receive from time to time from our kids.
"Sometimes we forget the power of the written word on paper. Last week, my hubby took my daughter to school one morning because I was just too sick with my nagging cough and cold. To my surprise, my daughter left me a handwritten note by the coffee machine where she knew I would find it. Boy, I tell you that sure lifted my spirits for the day!
I kept this note and used a wonderful sketch from Becky Fleckās PageMaps sketches on the Scrapbook & Card Today website here to scrap it.
Page supplies: Authentique pattern paper, Twinery, Basic Grey buttons, American Crafts alphabet
I hope you remember to let the special people in your life know how much you care about them by writing it down on paper too! Be sure to link us up in the comments below showing how you've remembered to capture those love notes to share with our readers! ~ Virginia
This is definitely what life is all about! Thank you for sharing with us.

How sweet. Those are special memories. I did a layout with a note my granddaughter wrote to me and cherish it. Love the sketch and layout.

Layout is lovely. I have notes that I have been meaning to scrap and you may just have lit a fire under my.....chair. Bet you thought I would say something different.

How special. My grandkids range in age from 14-25 and am going to be a great gram in a month. I have many "love" notes and special drawings from all of them and have kept them and just recently saw an idea of copying them and making special memory page of them. I'm looking forward for my first love note from my great grandson ( yes, we already know it's a boy).

Every time I hear about a child doing some sweet little thing like this, reminds why I love children so much! You're very lucky to have her!! Great idea on preserving these little treasures!!
