Here's a super quick way to make your next card extra special. Punch several small shapes from various patterened papers. (I used about 40 butterflies, punched with the Jenni Bowlin Fiskars punch) Then, using a needle and thread, string up the shapes! Secure the string around the backside of your card, letting it drape slightly to form a dimensional banner.
This technique is a fabulous way to spice up any project (and it would be ideal for Mother's Day cards!) Try it out on your next card! ~ Lisa Dickinson

Love this, I think it would also make a great art work on canvas! I could see this in my daughter's room with her name where the smile is. It is beautiful.
