Good morning! Do you wake up on Monday mornings sometimes and think "what a weekend!?" We sure did this morning. ScrapFest was amazing, busy, fun and inspiring. To all the ladies that stood in line (for a long time sometimes!) to participate in our many make n' takes, thank you! To all our friends that thanked us on Facebook, thank you. And to all the ladies that stopped by to tell us how much they love our magazine...THANK YOU! It always means so, so much. Yes, it was quite a wonderful weekend and we have a wonderful week ahead.
Today we have one of our favourite card makers joining us with a challenge. Shari Carroll is a designer for Hero Arts Rubber Stamps. In fact, she has been with them for 22 years! With a clean style and fabulous eye for colour, we want to share a little of Shari with you. Here is her challenge...
"Good morning SCT readers! Today's challenge uses the rule of thirds. I would love you to try using a fun design trick and create a card using SETS of threes! On my card, I've used three different elements in sets of three. Can you spot them? For starters, look at the strip of paper, the image in the background and the message. They form a triangular pattern which pulls your eye around the card. Also, the butterfly and the flowers form another triangle of three. Finally simple embellishments can form the combination as well, here I've added three gemstones to complete my card with this fun design style. Link us to your card in the comment section below so that I can see what you've done with this challenge! I'll be back on Wednesday to share another fun project with you." ~ Shari
Thank you Shari! OK SCT readers, let's take Shari's challenge. You can also check out Shari's blog right HERE for more stamping and cardmaking inspiration! And pssst...you'll see Shari in the next issue too :)
For our Project 12 followers, we apologize that we could not post it yesterday due to some Typepad issues. We will be posting that tomorrow and wait until you see what Davinie has done with her March layout. Fabulous as always!

I always seem to need the reminder to remember the Rule of Thirds in photogaphy and LO's but don't really think of it when I'm creating cards --- great challenge Shari - Thanks! Here's a link to my Blog and Card!
