I love the sketch and how she changed it up! The photos are too stinking cute! I also love the background paper! Great LO!

I learned how easy it is to alter the sketch to fit your paper size and how not to be afraid to change up embellishments to get the look you want.

Debbie Baker

I enjoyed seeing how she sewed the buttons on instead of using adhesive.

Janie Boots

I loved the sketch and I loved how she changed it

Jamie Larsen

i liked the way she worked in layers (papers first then embellishments etc) and then the way she worked from top to bottom.. very organized way to do it i'll have to try.
thanks for the chance to win!

I actually watched this video earlier and really loved it!! I love how see made the pagemap work for a 12x12 which is the size that I like to do!! I also enjoyed that it was a boy layout with boy papers..I always seem drawn to girlie papers etc and forget that I need to do some layouts of my little man too!!!

Shannon Miller

I always love looking at video tutorials. I enjoyed the one she did a few weeks ago on putting a card together and I also enjoyed this one. It is interesting to see how she follows the page map sketch. I think it is much easier to do it yourself after you see the video and then alter for your particular page size. Thanks a bunch!!

Great video & ideas. Love the dilly dally collection.

I'm with the others about learning to adjust sketches to whatever size you are working in. Thanks Lynn!

Thank you, Lynn. You've opened my eyes to ways I can alter those title and journal pieces that just don't quite fit my layout. I've never thought of doctoring them up to fit my needs. I will be trying this for sure!

Brenda B

Wonderful layout. I enjoyed watching Lynn making choices for pattern paper and colors. This is always a challenge for me. She pulled colors and patterns from her main photo. I also like the way the embellishments were placed so that it helped draw the eyes to the main photo. I appreciated how Lynn used the 8.5" x 11" pagemap and turn it into a 12" x 12". I usually ignore the smaller pagemaps, but now I will use them for 12"x12" layout inspiration. Thanks for the great video!

Thanks Lynn for showing us how to change a sketch and quickly finish a layout! Having papers from the same collection makes a layout come together quickly!!

I really enjoyed the video. I like how she chnged it fron 8.5 x 11 to 12 x12. Also the idea of the two emblishments on top of one another to create soemthing new .also never thought of sewing the buttoms on. Great!!!!

Dona S

Amazing instruction - organized, very concise and still very complete details. Fantastic videotaping - just the right angles and lighting, looved the fast forward because we got to see what happened without wasting time. The level of creativity just goes beyond saying and yet we can all access these resources and make something just as cute!!! Thank you so much for this!!!

Robin B.

I enjoyed watching this tutorial and I learned about the rule of thirds, which I wasn't familiar with.

thanks for reminding me that I can change things up to suit what I need to accomplish.

First of all, I love this collection and Becky's sketch! Also love how Lynn "altered" some of the embellies!

Anne Pennington

Great take on the sketch. I liked how you fast-forwarded when Lynn was doing her various parts of the tutorial. ie. she explained how she was doing it, then the film was speeded up while we watched how she did it. Kept me from getting bored waiting until the next part. Great idea!!

Rebecca W

Loved learning how she adjusted her sketch to fit what she was working with.

Helen Van Daalen

Thanks for the hint about using the my computer to print on journalling boxes. I don't like my hand writing and therefore do all my journalling on the computer.

Denise Coulter

I really enjoyed watching her layer all her paper and embellishments. I have such a hard time with that.

Alina Igna

Awesome idea for journaling with the help of the computer! I have to try it also!

i like being able to adjust layouts from one size to another. thank you for sharing. rush88888 at gmail dot com

Jenny McGee

Great take on the sketch. I liked how she changed up the embellishment she had to make it more what she wanted by adding the button. Thanks for a chance to win.

I liked the little bit of yellow stickin out behind the title. Rather than using another purchased embellishment though, I would have cut the shape from a scrap of cardstock.
