Scrapbook & Cards Today Blog: Webster's Pages Girl Land Giveaway!

Hello SCT friends and can we just all say together...thank goodness it's Friday! For most of us in Canada it's the first long weekend for the summer and as we speak many are packing up for the cottage or a little stay-cation in their backyard. Our family is headed to Ottawa this weekend for a little business and pleasure (pssst...looking for a Crop & Create location!) and we can't wait for a little early summer fun!

What are your plans this weekend? Maybe it will be to make the beautiful mini album that Courtney Walsh showed us this week? It was a beautiful album using the brand new Girl Land papers from Webster's Page so of course, guess what we have to give away today...

I would like nothing more than to win a subscription to Scrapbook & Cards Today for my mom. She is the BEST MOTHER!! Just as I completed radiation and chemotherapy in August 2011, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. She had surgery to remove her tumor and completed radiation therapy. Two months ago she broke her ankle which healed nicely except for the inflammation in her soft tissue which required 7 shots of cortisone. She still has lots of pain and finds it hard to get around. For an active person who volunteers this has put a damper on her lifestyle. Thank goodness my sister who lives next door is there to help her. If I were to win this subscription I would want to give my subscription to my sister. Both my mom and sister introduced me to card making and we have so much fun sharing new techniques and sending each our handcrafted cards. Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms out there.
