Happy Easter friends! Unfortunately this post was to be up much earlier in the day but due to some issues (ok, it *may* have been operator error!) it is just now being posted. We can tell you, the wait is worth it! Yesterday we "hinted" that we would have a little Bella with us today. Design team member Laura Vegas is also on the Bella Blvd. design team and Laura has created not one, but TWO sweet birthday cards to share with you...
A sweet version for a girl, but also for a boy...
Supplies: Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned paper: Bella Blvd; Wood veneer star: Studio Calico; Die cut machine: Silhouette Cameo; Other: machine stitching, rhinestone star
I am constantly in need of birthday cards and yet they are the one type of card that I never seem to have on hand. I have used this same "award ribbon" style design for many other cards, such as baby cards and thank you cards, and thought it would be the perfect design for birthday cards as well. I die cut the award ribbon pieces and "Happy Birthday" sentiment circle using my Silhouette Cameo. Using a die cutting machine makes it really easy to cut duplicate pieces at once, which then makes it easy to mass produce a whole bunch of birthday cards at once. I added just a touch of machine stitching, and a simple star embellishment to the center of my sentiment. If you were wanting to mail your cards, I would suggest leaving off the star embellishment for easy mailing. ~ Laura
Of course our friends at Bella Blvd. wanted you to have not one, but TWO birthday collections too!
Today's goody bag contains both the Birthday Boy AND the Birthday Girl lines! But wait, there's more! As we peeked into the goody bag, we saw this...
A fabulous Core'dinations Cardstock prize package containing their Glitter Silk collection a 6x 6 pad of the Black Magic and a Sand It set! WOOHOO! What a goody bag!
