Who loves Paper Smooches? WE DO!

Reader Submission Thursday!

We love when we receive great submissions from our readers and this one from Jenni Calma really caught our eye!  We just had to share...

It's Tag Tuesday with Vicki Boutin! And we're still celebrating!

It's time again for Tag Tuesday!  As I was trying to beat the heat I decided a "summer-y" themed tag would be in order.  I love all of the fun and colourful party supplies that are on the market these days.  I especially love the Stylish Stix from Queen and Co.  I pulled out a few packs of the Cherry Bomb ones and started playing with them and this is what I came up with…

 

 

By attaching 7 of the stix together to create a makeshift "raft" it became the perfect base for a tag!  A few stamped Hero Arts butterflies and die cuts and stickers from Little Yellow Bicycle finished it off nicely.

 

 

To keep the stix together, I secured them by wrapping ribbon and double sided tape around the bottom and the top.  I also added some vellum tape and twine.

 

 

The die cuts and stickers are the perfect topper.  This little tag would make a perfect party favour, teacher thank you tag or BBQ invite!!!  

Hope this one gives you the inspiration to repurpose some straws into something fun!

I {heart} summer with Vicki Boutin!

We were thrilled to see that Vicki Boutin has entered the video world!  Finally!  Check out part one of the series where she showcases the Sn@p I {heart} Summer line from Simple Stories!   

 

While Vicki promises to get better, we think she did a fantastic job showing this line and we look forward to Saturday's video where she shows what she does with it.  We'll be sure to share that too.  If you watch the video, be sure to leave Vicki a comment!
