Welcome to the weekend and Stampin' Up! Inspiration Saturday on the SCT blog. On the first Saturday of each month we invite our friends at Stampin' Up! to share their creativity with our readers. If you’re not an avid stamper already, after you see what Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Anne Granger and Susan Bruyn have done with the Joyful Christmas stamp set you will be! Stamps can take you from cards, to scrapbooking, to gift wrapping, to home decor quickly and easily. The best thing about stamps? You never use them up! Find a stamp set you love and it can remain in your collection forever.
Let’s take a look at some amazing projects from Anne Granger. Anne lives in Dorchester, Ontario and has been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for 6 years.
Here's what Anne had to say about her projects:
“With Christmas just around the corner, I can't wait to share special treats with family and friends and this chocolate envelope treat holder made with the Envelope Punch Board will be the perfect way to let others know I'm thinking of them this holiday season!
"During the holiday season, we are always attending special Holiday gatherings and I wanted a special gift to say "Thank You" to the hostess. I can't wait to share these unique gift boxes with my family and friends using the new Tag a Bag Gift Boxes"
"Creating unique cards is quick and easy with the help of the Big Shot and the Circle Framelits. I used the Scallop Circle Framelit to create the base for my card, and then I used the stencils from the Build a Banner Kit to create the stripes in the background with a little bit of Old Olive ink. My poinsettia was embossed with gold embossing powder on Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive card stock.”
"With the help of the Big Shot and the Circle Framelits, I was able to create a window card that showcased a beautiful poinsettia ornament inside. It reminds me of a ornament hanging on a tree or in a window."
"Have a small gift to give out during the Holiday Season? These Merry Treat Bags using the new Mini Muslin Bags will be the perfect way to present your gift to family and friends!”
Thank you Anne for sharing your creativity and these beautiful projects with us!
Now let’s take a look at the projects from Susan Bruyn. Susan lives in Calgary, Alberta and has been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since Stampin’ Up! came to Canada in April of 2002!
This is what Susan had to say about her projects:
“The front of this card features an intricate paper pieced poinsettia. Inside is a delightful surprise created using a simple fancy fold."
"Journals are just plain fun! This one is just waiting to capture my Christmas thoughts and moments. Will I list thoughts and activities or will I make it my Christmas junk journal? The possibilities are endless..."
This lovely canvas is a result of a morning of exploring the possibilities of using parts of this stamp set to create something unique.”
Beautiful projects ladies! Thank you again for sharing on Stampin' Up! Inspiration Saturday with SCT!
