December 1st is almost here and I am itching to get into the holiday swing of things. Time to rearrange the furniture and get the decorations up! It is also time to start in on any hand made Christmas gifts. So today my tag is a gift card holder with flaps!
I love making gift card holders! They're probably my favourite type of tag/card to make. For this one I cut the tag with the flaps off the left and right side as one piece. Then I scored the flaps and folded them over.
I added 4 brads and wrapped them with twine to create a closure. Then I added a few stars, stickers, and metallic bits to finish it off.
Here it is open. You could add a few punched circles to mask the brad backs. These are sure cut to make and could be hung from the Christmas tree or make great teachers gifts.
Enjoy all of your holiday preparations! See you soon!!!

This is a great combo-tag/gift card holder. I'll definitely be adding this design to my gift card making. We are away from our family during the Holidays so we send gift cards to everyone.
