Hello! If you joined us here yesterday we shared projects and inspiration from Summer Fullerton using the brand new Jillibean Soup lines just released at CHA. As we continue in that same theme, let's chat about BasicGrey. We toured the BasicGrey booth (yes won't lie, with mouths gaping!) to see all the new lines about to hit a store near you. A-MAZING! We chatted with Rachel the owner of BasicGrey about each line and what inspired them. A trip to New York with her team certainly inspired some of the themes and ideas that we will see in these collections. We were also pleased to see several of our team's beautiful work that just had to be shared with you!

Excited for these new products to ship to stores? We sure are! Our friends at BasicGrey were also very happy to take part in our 50+K celebration on Facebook. Please join us HERE TODAY for an opportunity to win the brand new Spice Market collection!
Of course we just had to have a giveaway for our blog friends today too! How would you like to win a spot in the brand new PageMaps U card class? In this class, you will be creating 32 fresh, trend-setting cards created by some of your favourite cardmakers in the industry. Just like the PMU layout class, this one will be filled with techniques, excusive card sketches, slide shows, cutting files and so much more.
We are delighted to be giving away a free spot into this inaugural card class! For your chance to win, post here your favourite type of card to make and send. We'll draw a random winner on January 30th!
Enjoy a fabulous Wednesday. Find a few moments to be creative :)

I love making cards of all types. My favorite......co-ordinating note cards. I use complimentary papers, embellishments, etc. then give a set of 4-6 as gifts. New papers, stamps, bling, always exciting! Oh the possibilities!

I love making Thinking of You or Just Because cards. I love the thought of somebody going to their mailbox and opening one of my handmade cards and know that somebody is thinking about them! Puts a smile on my face and blesses my soul!

It really doesn't matter what kind of card I make, they give me the opportunity to send a handmade, heart-felt sentiment to someone I care about! Being able to make a card that suits the individual, while allowing me creative freedom! And I often create with my daughter, so its great fun & the chance to make special memories we'll have forever!!!

Can't say they're my favorite, because the occasion is so sad, but I think the most worthwhile cards to make, for me, are Sympathy ones. I tend to send them about a week after the funeral, because that's when the real work of the grief process gets started, and I think the recipient could really use a little empathy and cheer then.

Looks like a fun class. I probably make the most 'thinking of you' cards. Thanks for sharing.
