Happy Valentine's Day everyone! How many of you handmade your valentines this year? I did and I have one I'd love to share with you. It combines candy sprinkles and the super popular geo pin icon, and the result is this fun shaker card.
Shaker cards can be filled with glitter, glass beads and lots of other tiny doo-dads, so why not candy sprinkles? For a photo tutorial on how to make a shaker card, visit this link.
Imagine this same card in the shape of a cupcake or a balloon filled with sprinkles -- how fun! I hope this idea will inspire you to find new ways to use candy sprinkles in your next shaker card!
To recreate this card, we are offering you a free electronic cutting file. CLICK HERE to download a zip file which contains a pdf preview, along with both an .svg and .dxf file. These files are compatible with Silhouette, Boss Kut, Pazzle and any other electronic cutting file that can read these file formats. Enjoy!
In celebration of Valentine's Day, we have a sweet gift for you! These three stamp sets are the latest series of stamps that I have created for Penny Black and are perfect for making the still popular chalkboard look.
For your chance to win this set of stamps, just post a comment before Thursday, February 20th at 6:00 p.m., sharing with us your favourite thing about Valentine's Day. Good luck!
Have a love-filled, wonderful day!

My favourite thing about valentines day is sharing it with the staff and children at my school. The kindergarten children especially get so excited about giving out their cards and having a valentines party. Something as simple as a pencil with hearts on makes their faces light up with joy.

The card is adorable. I think that it isn't the flowers, candy or cards that I really like on Valentines day but instead spending it with my special guy.

Love Penny Black Stamps and would love to win this set. thanks for the opportunity.
My favourite thing about Valentine's Day is that it is a day set aside that reminds you to take time to show your loved ones how you feel.
Our lives are often so busy we don't tell or show them on a regular basis and this day just says - stop- and tell them you love them. Whether this is through cards, chocolate, flowers or just acts of kindness it is all good ! <3
