Hello SCT fans!! Nicole Harper here, sharing a fun project I made using the February Gossamer Blue Life Pages kit...I love using divided page protectors to document the events from a weekend away, especially when it means reminiscing about good times with great friends. :)
I was invited to teach with the SCT Crop & Create crew last fall, and jumped at the chance. These ladies are the real deal...kind-hearted, genuine and just plain FUN. This layout uses a few pics from the Cornwall event, which meant several firsts: first trip out of the U.S., first time teaching for SCT, first Tim Horton's pit stop along the freeway where I frantically connected to the WiFi to let my family know I was alive, lol. Plus, I had to include my first passport stamp, right?!
I loved the wood veneer card in the kit, so used it as is but added the globe stamp and a few phrase stickers. The little envelope that was included was a perfect spot for my room key to land...I have a habit of hanging onto bits and pieces from events/travel, and sometimes they can be tricky to include on a traditional scrapbook page. One more reason to love this approach ;)
Please don't hesitate to join us this year...we have 5 Crop&Create events planned, and I would love to meet more people along the way!! I'll also be sharing one of my pages here on the last Wednesday of each month so be sure to join me for little tips and tricks as I record my details!
(psst...we spotted this layout on Nicole's blog and loved the title! Of course, we had to share although we didn't tell Nic...
LOVE these pages! So many great elements!! TFS!
