Hi! I just wanted to give a quick shout out to all the lovely ladies I've met at Crop and Create Moncton and Winnipeg these past few weeks - thank you for such an amazing time! For my make n' take at the events, we coloured glitter and I just wanted to share that here today.
All you need is some double-sided Be Creative tape (sookwang), Glitter Ritz microfine transparent glitter, outline stickers and some Copic markers.
Apply the tape to white card stock, peel away the tape liner to expose the sticky surface, pour glitter over the tape, brush away the excess with a brush and burnish (rub) the glitter onto the tape with your fingers.
Using tweezers grab an outline sticker and adhere it on top of the glittered surface.
Use the brush end of your Copic marker, lightly brush the colour over the glitter, you do not need to over blend or colour because the alcohol from the marker will begin to remove the adhesive under the glitter.
Just think back to grade school when we could sit for hours on end just colouring with crayons, it is as relaxing and easy as that!
After you have finished colouring just trim out the bird and use on your card or scrapbook page!
Another exciting day in our 8th birthday and 80K fan celebration! At our Crop & Create weekends we always see the Scrap N' Easel on the tables and we are thrilled to be able to offer it to one lucky reader!!!
If you would like an opportunity to win today's prize just leave a comment below or leave a comment on our Facebook page on the post where you see this prize! Super easy! We will combine all comments together and on April 11th we will announce all the winners here and on Facebook too! One winner will be chosen for each day. Good luck!
Please take a moment to visit the Scrap N' Easel facebook page and tell my friend Marlo who invented this great product "thank you!" for this prize! You need one!
That little bird is so sweet and that technique-magic! Would love to win the easel. It looks like the answer to a lot of problems I have.
