Good morning SCT friends! We are so sorry we could not post our Monday with Megan post yesterday. Typepad was tempermental all day so we will share that post next Monday. As a little hint, it's all about these...
A few weeks back we asked some of our team to share some of their organizing ideas with our readers. Today we have Vicki Boutin, Jen Gallacher, Summer Fullerton and Ali Edwards sharing a tip with you!
"I love to turn "found objects" into interesting containers for my studio. If it's interesting and it will hold something...it will work!! I found this vintage purse at a garage sale. It had a rusted wrench and a bunch of garbage in it. I cleaned it up and filled it with another treasure...my THICKERS!!!" ~ Vicki Boutin
I prefer to organize all my items by color. In this photo you can see that I've sorted one of my favorite embellishments: buttons by color. Some are in clear containers while extras are in baggies. Storing by color allows me to search quickly and easily for something that matches my project. I do also do this with paper, cardstock, ribbon and more. ~ Jen Gallacher
I like to have favorites and new goodies out in the open where I won’t forget about them. The random mix of funky bowls were made by both my kids in ceramics class. Grant is in his 3rd terms of ceramics. The larger brown bowl was just added to my collection last week! ~ Summer Fullerton
Ali Edwards uses a baker's rack to organize her products! She talks more about tackling unfinished projects and organizing in a blog post here.
Ali also uses the Kvissle Letter Trays from Ikea to organize her kit subscriptions. Ali shares an amazing tour of her office and many organizing ideas HERE!
Stay tuned for part 2!
~ Catherine
ps...we would love to see your ideas too! Take a picture, share your idea and send it to me at [email protected] Please keep your image under 1mb.

Great storage ideas!!!
Most of my stash lives out in the garage in plastic tubs and I do my crafting on the kitchen table. I am super lucky to have a big metal tool trolley with drawers of different heights, so most of my squeeze punches go in the top ones, the bigger squeeze border & lever punches in the next couple and other tools go in the deepest one at the bottom. I have to confess that it is hard to find the spare bed at the moment, because my works-in-progress are scattered all over it.

Oh boy, wish I had the room for a Baker's Rack - what a fab idea! Things tend to sit either on my craft table, or on the bed behind my table!
