Happy Saturday and thank you for joining us for another fabulous Stampin’ Up! Inspiration Saturday post! Today we’re featuring projects coloured to perfection with Stampin’ Up!’s newest creation, Blendabilities. Blendabilities are alcohol based makers that are designed to blend easily and provide deep, rich, beautiful colour!
Check out the entire line-up of Blendabilities markers and choose your favourite!
We have two Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators with us today, sharing their latest creations using the Blendabilities markers. Please welcome Colleen Vassos and Angela McKay! First up, let’s see what Colleen has created.
“I love little cards, I often tuck these in with my customer orders, and they are the perfect size to keep in your desk at work or the perfect little thank you gift to have on hand. Such a long word, Blendabilities, I affectionately call them Blendies. Perfect for coloring these little flowers, even room to leave part of the image white! And rhinestones colored to match, love my Blendabilities!”
“Are you a burned out scrapbooker? Project Life by Stampin’ Up! is the perfect answer for you! I also love that the Project Life cards are perfect to use on cards! I trimmed a 4" x 6" card down and used it on the card front. The little strip left over...no need to waste it! !t finishes off the inside of the card. My customers really like seeing all the possibilities with our products, and they love the Flower Shop stamp set and matching punch. The flowers in the stamp set are the perfect size for coloring with Blendabilities, not too big, not too small....just right ! And I am loving adding shine to the candy dots with Crystal Effects!”
“I love coffee, and with every new Stampin' Up! Catalogue I make myself a new coaster featuring new product to put my for my morning coffee cup on (don't want to risk setting that coffee cup on one of my paper projects, because just maybe my craft area is always a little messy!). I knew the Blended Bloom flower stamp would look perfect on top of the new Typeset Designer Series Paper. Wouldn't 4 of these, each with a different color of flower, make a great gift-tied up with a pretty bow?”
“So, how many notebooks do you have on the go at any one time? My customers are always writing notes on their grid paper at class, so I thought here is the perfect solution for them, a little Kraft Journal from Stampin' Up! And even better, it's the perfect size to tuck in your bag too! Doesn't the Black Taffeta Ribbon remind you of typewriter ribbon? The bookmark is movable so you can place it anywhere in the book to mark your place, and if you need, you can use the burlap bookmark and clip separately to mark off two sections in your book. So how will you personalize your notebook? Tap, tap, tap.....”
“At my last class, one of my attendees mentioned that she had so many cards, so I suggested she start packaging them up as gifts. They make great thank you gifts! A few cards, wrapped up in our cellophane bags and tied up with pretty ribbon is perfect. I always include stamps when I give a gift of cards, so there are no excuses not to mail them! I had so much fun coloring the rhinestones with Blendabilities for this card. And I cannot stop using Crystal Effects! Doesn't that cherry bowl look just like porcelain? My fav is the little hairball made with Linen Thread!” ~ Colleen
Thank you so much Colleen for sharing your colourful creativity with us! Now let’s check out the fabulous creativity of Angela McKay! You’ll love what she has for us too!
“At my recent class where I introduced the magic of Blendabilities, I knew that I had some who weren’t fond of colouring. I thought I’d ease them into it again on a small scale and the butterflies are perfect for that. They are forgiving when you blend due to the black lines breaking up the image. Perfect, simple and quick!”
“As I started to feel more comfortable with the Blendabilities I felt ready to tie them into a more typical card for me in which the stamped image is the only key point. I loved how easily I could make the image pop from the Designer Series Paper with the depth that the Blendabilities provide.”
“My customers couldn’t have agreed more that Stampin’ Up nailed it when they released the gorgeous single stamp Blended Bloom at the same time as the Blendabilties. The go together like cookies and milk. The Blended Bloom stamp gave them opportunities to play with shading and determining whether they liked to shade from light to dark or dark to light. It was also fun to have everyone working on different colour flowers at the table and to compare the final products.”
“I have to admit, this stamp set was top of my list when Blendabilities came out, having owned a Vespa myself. I know that my customers will love the opportunity to learn shading on this image that is neither too big or too small to witness the amazing capabilities of the Blendabilities.”
“Today & Everyday is a perfect stamp set for learning the ins and outs of Blendabilities. You can really make the lanterns come to life. The Color Lifter was the perfect tool to introduce to my customers to the art of adding light and depth to images.” ~ Angela
