Whether you’re a world traveler or simply love the look of maps, you’re in for a treat. Maps, globes, and location art are right on trend and make crafting and decorating so fun. So pack your bags and come away with me. Let’s explore this global look together!
New Map Paper by Hazel & Ruby
If you’re into mixed media art or simply want to incorporate another paper style into your scrapbooks and cards, you’ll LOVE this thin paper (almost like tissue paper, but easier to craft with) by Hazel & Ruby. And they’ve just introduced a roll with a map of the world on it. Isn’t it cool?
Check out what Heather Gleim did with this paper, using a basic piece of foam core board she picked up at her dollar store. I adore this glowing idea.
Jubilee by My Mind’s Eye
Like a suitcase full of souvenirs, these embellishments make it so fun to go global!
As this layout by talented Tina Walker illustrates, the map look is not only great for travel-themed projects but also school-related topics.
Accomplished by Authentique
In place of a basic polka dot, the circular shape of globes can even act as more of a background pattern, just as these cool kraft sheets illustrate.
The Zodiac by Hero Arts
We mustn’t forget maps of the night sky. Star maps and constellations are still going strong in the trend world. Check out this fun digital set by Hero Arts. What’s in the stars for you?
London Map Washi Tape by Freckled Fawn

This new number includes both map prints and globe designs. You might say it’s the best of both worlds. ;)
Globe Die by Jillibean Soup for Silhouette
Cut. It. Out. This die is a darling way to document your grand adventures.
Now that we have some of the freshest products in mind, let’s look at a few more creative idea artists have mapped.
Chalkboard Globe by Mandy Starner
Isn’t the contrast between the globe’s natural coloring and the black chalkboard striking?
Map Embroidery Hoops by A Little Savvy Event
Thrift-store maps + embroidery hoops = the cutest “Welcome to the World” baby shower theme ever!
Framed Maps by The Handcrafted Life
Turn a map of your hometown (or towns) into complete personalized decor.
Map of Canada Print by Fabulous Felties
What kind of blog guest would I be if I did not give a specific shout out to you, my Canadian friends? Take a look at this cool wall art. Do you see your home?
Well, I hope you’ve enjoyed globe trotting with me today. Thanks for joining me on this worldly adventure! Let’s do it again soon.
Cheers!

I just love maps!! I think it is because I can't travel due to health problems and the lines on maps!!! I love orderly chaos and I think that maps are just that! So many lines going every which way but they all add up to a fabulous world!!! TFS!
