It’s time for another fun blog posting from our friends at Stampin’ Up! and we are being spoiled with a peek inside their brand new Holiday Catalogue! We have two demonstrators here to share some amazing projects with the new Holiday Home Bundle, which includes a photopolymer stamp set and co-ordinating framelits.
First let’s take a look at what demonstrator Allison Okamitsu has to share. Allison is located in Calgary, Alberta and has been a demonstrator for 5 years!
Let’s hear what Allison has to say about her projects.
“As soon as I saw the Holiday Home stamp set I was instantly reminded of the fun and funky houses of San Francisco, so it was perfect for my scrapbook page to document our trip there. My customers love to see how they can use their holiday stamp set purchases all year, so they’ll love the year round versatility of this set.”
“I absolutely LOVE Halloween, so it was only natural for me to share a Halloween card with you today. It’s so nice that this stamp set has a matching set of framelits because it makes cutting out these fab houses super simple, which I know will be a popular time saving tip with my customers.”
“When it’s time to welcome a new family to the neighbourhood I always like to drop off a special card. This one would make any new family feel special as the house has had several layers of stamped images cut out and assembled together to create a bright and fun home. This technique is called paper piecing, and I love it because I find fussy cutting super relaxing”
“When I take my fab card over to the new neighbours I’ll have to a little gift of course too. This Mini Muslin Bag is perfect to hold some chocolates, a fancy cheese, or even a gift card.”
“At my last Stamp Club gathering someone asked if there was a cute box that was quick and easy to assemble so she could create cute treats for her child’s class. The Curvy Keepsake Box is so perfect for making multiples because it comes together in just a few minutes, so if you have a large event coming up, this set of framelits is for you! And of course it looks adorable with the little trees from the Holiday Home stamp set to decorate it”
Thank you so much Allison for sharing all of your beautiful creations with us today!
Now let’s check out the creativity of Carol Mathews! Carol is from beachy and beautiful Nova Scotia.
“This was a fun class and my customers were excited to create a game for their children and grandchildren. The Holiday Home stamp set is perfect for matching and the houses fit on a smaller sized card which are a good fit for small hands.”
“You can never have too many tags, and these ones go together so quickly. I really liked how you can curve the photopolymer stamps - especially the Santa sleigh and reindeer - to fit over the house roof.”
“These ornaments are made using the Coaster Board which means they will last for years."
“Stampin' Up!'s journals are useful for so many things, and this House Records book is just one. With pockets in the front and back and added tabs for organized information, this book helps keep important information all in one place, but is fun at the same time.”
“It's amazing how easy this card came together. And nothing is spookier than dark houses and ghosts!”
“Whether it's full of cookies or neighbourhood brochures and information, this Welcome to Your New Home box will be appreciated. It's a fun box to decorate because you can use all of the stamps in the Holiday Home set to create a scene for each season.”
Thank you so much Carol for sharing these beautiful projects with us!
