Hello and welcome to Stampin’ Up! Inspiration Saturday! The first Saturday of each month we invite our Stampin' Up! friends to share some of the newly released Stampin' Up! products. We don't know about you but the day the Stampin' Up! catalogue lands in the office, we take a long break to savour it all and then the list of "must haves" starts!
Let’s see what Anne Granger created with the Blendabilities markers and some products from the new Occasions Catalogue:
“As soon as I saw the new Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die, I knew just how easy it would be to create treat bags for Valentines Day. The best thing about this treat bag holder is its the perfect size to hold a notecard or a special treat for your loved one!”
“The new Happy Heart Embossing Folder is a must in your collection! I love adding that extra detail to my projects, and this folder is just right for putting that extra special “love” on your card!”
“When I first saw this image, I knew this little pirate would be fun to colour! I love adding depth to my cards by adding tons of dimensionals.”
“I loved colouring these fish with the new Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities markers. They make colouring so easy, plus I love how you can shade and blend with these markers to add that extra detail to your projects!”
“The Hey Valentine stamp set is perfect to create Valentines for all the students in my class. It was fun and easy to create these Sour Cream Containers, and thought it was the perfect way to hold a special treat for them!” ~ Anne
A big thank you to Anne for sharing all her amazing Valentine's projects with us!
Next up is Carol Matthews who has created a fabulous collection of projects with the new Occasions Catalogue products.
“I'm always interested in new ways to package candy treats, and the candy topper from the new Hey, Valentine stamp set can be used year round! Just colour the bird in colours relating to the celebration and perhaps tuck a tiny flower or snowflake in its beak to further the theme. Tuck the candy in one of Stampin' Up!'s 1" x 8" bags, attach the topper and you have a lovely little gift.”
“The new Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies are another big hit. Although the dies are designed to make a flat treat bag which is great for gift cards, special notes, and tiny treats, the combination of dies can be altered to make different sized bags that are big enough for large treats and small gifts. Here the two largest dies have been used to make a bigger bag that could hold Easter treats - especially using the beautiful Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper. The die set also includes words and images that can be used as embellishments for the bags or other projects.”
“These photos show how the same Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies can be used as a wedding favour by making up the regular size treat bag in your wedding colours (this one uses Gold Soiree Designer Series Paper) and placing a note inside with a small gift. This one has two free drink tickets for the reception!” ~ Carol
