Hello and welcome to Stampin’ Up! Saturday! Today we have two talented designers here to share some beautiful Spring projects with us using the From the Garden Stamp Set and Handpicked Framelits! A fun collection that reminds us spring is really here!
From the Garden Photopolymer Bundle
A warm welcome to Heather Summers! Let’s check out her awesome projects using this bundle!
“I like this card because it is simple and duplicable. Using the Handpicked Framelits to cut out the pots adds a great dimension to the card. The stitching on the side isn't necessary, but adds a unique element of texture.”
“The Typeset Designer Series Paper is by far my favourite! It is so versatile and fun! I love that you can stamp on the paper and add a few elements of bling but it still is a soft and subtle background.”
“You can see my style coming out here - clean and mass producible. I love that you can use the Big Shot and the framelits to do most of the work on this card. TIP: when working with the clear heart, you can lightly trace the outline in pencil, remove it, colour your cardstock, erase the pencil lines and restick the bling!"
“We all know framelits are an investment, so I like to demonstrate their versatility. I love the soft corners of the garden pick, so I decided to use this shape to create a unique background.”
“I love to combine lots of texture and dimension on a special card (you know the one-of-a-kind, I'll never make again kinds). This card has the twine, pearls, stitching and paper layers all combined to offer a subtle background showcasing the important greeting.”
Thank you so much Heather! Your projects are stunning!
The next collection of projects are from the talented Tara Murphy Bourgoin. Let’s see what she’s created to share with us!
“It's so fun to stretch your stamps out. Try making your own designer paper by stamping all the bits in the From The Garden stamp set! And by using the vine stamp, you can create a quick, fanciful border.”
“The little accents in the Handpicked Framelits are so sweet. They are the perfect size for embellishing a card, or putting into a shaker frame!”
“My customers loved how quick and easy the Berry Basket was to make! After that, the sky is the limit for decorating and adding your own special touches.”
“Wrap up a treat and say thank you to that special teacher! At a recent class we looked at fun new (and unexpected!) ways to use our dies - like this perfect pencil using the Handpicked Framelits.”
“Sometimes a little note is all it takes to put a smile on someone's face. Sponging a scene on this one-layer card is a great way to add interest while still keeping the card quick and clean.”
Thank you so much Heather and Tara! We are so thankful you’ve shared your great ideas with us! As a lovely treat today, our friends at Stampin' Up! would love to share some of these amazing products with one lucky SCT reader. Wouldn't you love to welcome these amazing products into your craft room...
